my window live messenger 2009 seems like doesn't function properly.

my newly downloaded wlm 2009 is not functionong well. when i sign into the wlm 2009, my account could be signed in, but within 10 seconds, the messsenger lose its data connection and the logged out. the messenger then will automatically sign me in to my accoubt and then logged me out automatically.
i am quiet sad. the internet connection is ok. but the wlm seems like malfunctioning. that cause me a messy day!!!!
